        While recovering from a car accident some years ago, my grandmother...never one who put up with much self pity or idleness...taught me to crochet. A wonderful lady, my "Grammie", but she believed that doing a thing right was the only right way! Many rows of stitches would be undone for one mistake!...*smile*

        I learned well, and today create my own line of specialty dolls

        One of the very first dolls I created was this Ballerenia Belle for my brother's little girl. She squealed with delight that Christmas...

        I designed it to resemble a costume she had worn in "The Nutcracker Suite".







        This was created for a lady in Georgia who sent me a photo of her great-grandmother in a "Southern Belle" gown. I duplicated it for her...


        ...right down to the hair-do!!



        One of my favorites to make are the Brides. I have had many requests over the years for the Bride Belle.
